DVD Shelf - Import Screen
This screen handles the actual Import of data in to the app.
At the start of the import you need to select the source data file.
Select the type of the source
Imports data from a file, you will be prompted to find a file;
either from a list of files in the '/dvdshelf/exports' folder on the SD card or from a file explorer of your phone:
If you have a file explorer installed that isn't being detected,
Import one of the files previously saved in the exports/imports folders
Type in the full path to the file
Only available if there is data on the clipboard
It is required to be in the same format as data saved to the clipboard
Accessed by pressing the menu button.
Opens the Settings Screen
Displays help options
View the full FAQ page directly from the app
Where available, these App Help Pages are available either online or offline
(Offline help can be turned on by default in the Settings Screen)
Visit the website to check latest download info
You can email the developer directly
Displays the quick tips dialog
View the current app version and release notes
See if a new version is available (and check the main website for latest updates)
Specify the location of the source images
You need to check the box to import images
Duplicate entries are detected on the barcode,
Each field in the source data needs mapping to the app fields.
The name of each field from the file is displayed as a section heading
Decide if the field is being imported at all
You can select which app field the data will go into
(XML data will always match the in-built fields correctly)
Fields that are currently hidden are indicated as [ field ]
You can still import data into hidden fields, indicated as [ field ]
When Importing into a new field, a new custom field will be created for you
the name and type will be defined automatically, it is usually the list type
Choose import to start the import progress.
The import progress will be displayed
If the import fails, you can try again via the import button
